Virtual Compliance Officer

Janet Kincaid, JD, CRCM,  works as a Virtual Compliance Officer for Review Alliance. Janet holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Rhode Island and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. She began her career in the Law Department at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Washington, DC, in both the Enforcement and Bank Activities and Structure Departments.

In her 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Janet has held various positions in community banks in Michigan and California, including Compliance Officer, BSA Officer, CRA Officer, and Information Security Officer for institutions ranging in asset size from $450 million to $5 billion. She has also worked with internal auditors, external auditors, and state and federal regulators for more than six years. Her knowledge includes compliance, BSA/AML, CRA, Fair Lending, loan and deposit operations, and Board and staff training. Along with her VCO duties, Janet will be one of B/A’s featured authors.
